Quality & compliance

Claims that survive a compliance review.

Grounding is a category where marketing language runs ahead of the paperwork. Ours is built the other way round: the certificate, the test report and the resistor specification come first, and the copy follows.

Certification

Three documents your buyer will ask for.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 — harmful substance testing

The new 80/20 cloth is tested against OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 criteria for harmful substances. This is product testing of the finished textile, not a self-declaration — which is precisely why it answers the question retail buyers actually ask.

Applies to · 80/20 series

GOTS-certified organic cotton

The cotton component of both cloths is certified organic under GOTS. Certificate available to your compliance team on request; we do not describe a blend as organic without it.

Applies to · 95/5 and 80/20

ISO 9001:2015 quality system

Production runs under a certified quality management system: documented procedures, defined inspection points and traceable records for each batch we ship.

Applies to · all production

Certificate copies, scope statements and test reports are released to customers and their compliance agents. We do not publish certificate numbers on the open web — a habit worth asking your other suppliers about.

Process control

Five inspection points, not one final glance.

A defect caught at fabric receipt costs a metre. The same defect caught after packing costs a container. We check early and document it.

01

Fabric receipt

Incoming conductive cloth checked for weight, colour consistency against the retained standard, and continuity across the roll before it enters cutting.

Recorded: roll ID, weight, continuity check
02

Cutting

Panel dimensions verified against the approved measurement chart, with the silver grid orientation controlled so the conductive path runs the intended direction.

Recorded: cut lot, dimension check
03

Seam & assembly

Seams inspected for puckering and skipped stitches; snap tabs checked for placement and for electrical contact with the conductive layer rather than the face cloth.

Recorded: seam inspection, snap continuity
04

Hardware & cord

Every cord checked for the 100 kΩ resistor, correct adapter type for the destination market, and a secure snap fit at both ends.

Recorded: adapter type, resistor value check
05

Final inspection

Finished units checked against the signed approval sheet — measurement, colour, labelling, packing configuration — before cartons are sealed and marked.

Recorded: final inspection report, packing list

Documentation

The pack that clears your importer.

Issued with every bulk order, in English, formatted for a customs broker or a retail compliance team rather than a WhatsApp message.

  • Material composition statement — cotton and silver percentages by weight
  • Fabric specification — weave, weight in g/㎡, dye process
  • Safety resistor specification for the cord assembly
  • Care and wash instructions suitable for your retail label
  • Certificate copies: ISO 9001:2015, GOTS, OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 where applicable
  • Packing list, carton marks and country-of-origin declaration

Electrical safety

A passive product with one critical component.

A grounding textile consumes no electricity. The only electrical part is the cord — and that is where the entire safety argument lives.

100 kΩ

The resistor

Every cord we ship contains a 100 kΩ resistor. It limits current to a level that cannot injure a person even if a fault occurs elsewhere in the home's wiring. This is the baseline requirement for the category — a cord without it is a bare conductor into a wall outlet.

TEST

The outlet

The product only works on a correctly grounded outlet. We supply an outlet tester as an accessory and recommend bundling it: it is the cheapest way to stop a customer from concluding the product failed when the socket did.

ROD

The fallback

For homes without a grounded outlet — common in older housing stock — a grounding rod driven into soil provides a genuine earth reference. Push it in by hand; never hammer it.

Claims discipline

What we will and will not put on a box.

Grounding products are wellness accessories, not medical devices. That boundary is not a technicality — it decides whether your listing survives a marketplace review. We write copy that stays on the right side of it, and we will tell you when your own wording will not.

If your market requires specific regulatory wording, send it with the brief and we will match the label exactly.

We writeWe avoid
“Designed to connect you to the earth while you sleep.”“Cures insomnia.”
“Users report feeling more relaxed.”“Reduces inflammation.”
“Conductive silver grid across the full panel.”“Medical-grade grounding therapy.”
“Emits no EMF and consumes no power.”“Blocks EMF radiation.”
“Wellness accessory for everyday use.”“Treats chronic pain.”
